The Carriage House is the only barn venue in downtown St. Augustine making it a hidden gem in this historic district. The main entrance sits towards the back of the property, with a large sliding gate opening to reveal a brick courtyard and meandering garden that perfectly flatters the barn itself. This beautiful barn enchants guests as the large picture-perfect barn doors open to exposed beams, market lighting and a carriage-wheel chandelier. This 2000 sq ft, climate-controlled barn displays a more elegantly rustic setting. We love the barn’s ability to perfectly transform itself for a rustic celebration or an elegant, more formal affair. The Carriage House was previously known as “The Pioneer Barn” within what used to be Fort Menendez. The fort front walls and arched doorways at the front of the property remind guests of the town’s history when entering, but as soon as they are within the walls, it’s time to celebrate your event.
